People are really struggling in Louisiana right now due to hurricane season. My family is from Jennings, Louisiana and have recently had two hurricanes come right for them. Hurricane Laura and Delta. So the electricity has been out, debris everywhere and many people have their homes.

In this video, you are witnessing a kind moment of people from Texas that drove to many towns in and around Jennings, Louisana to deliver warm, fresh and healthy hot meals.

On this day 1,400 hot meals were given to anyone willing to drive through or walk-up.

Fresh jambalaya, orange and cold water. Also, let’s not forget a candy bar just to make people smile.

I am a caregiver but honestly, on this day and at this moment I felt what I do is small. I am grateful to any and all that showed up to help these people, my people.
